In-Person or Online Lessons
Study of music is enriching for anyone, whether an aspiring musician, a devoted amateur, or a complete beginner. I teach mainly voice, including non-singing (speaking) voice coaching, but also beginning piano, ukulele, theory, or songwriting. I work in person, or online via Zoom. Options
Dr. Birchell is a voice teacher and speech coach, and can also give lessons in beginning piano, music theory, songwriting, or ukulele. For classical singers, he can help with not only technique but also language & interpretation. Online (Zoom), or in person.
Dr. Birchell holds a Master of Music concentrating in voice and opera from UCLA’s Herb Alpert School of Music, and a Doctor of Musical Arts from the University of Washington. He is an experienced educator, having taught students of all ages. Dr. Birchell is a member of NATS, the National Association of Teachers of Singing. Contact him!
